The Bks - history's first all female DJ collective - brings you a fresh new mix every week from one of our superstar DJs. This third episode is courtesy of Kitty Cash from New York City.
Born Cachee Livingston, the Brooklyn native has a background as a fashion publicist, but found her passion when she started DJing for musician Kilo Kish.
Her style is not limited to one genre, but instead can be characteristic of a certain vibe, bringing together an eclectic audience. She blends everything from R&B to electronic, disco to Hip-Hop, adorning her sonic canvas with a hazy, love inspired atmosphere. Her live sets can feature anything from Sade to Young Thug, depending on what kind of mood you catch her in.
Her influence extends beyond her own works as well. As a trusted source for up and coming music, art and style, she acts as a guest editor for the Huffington Post. Her “Love The Free” mix series has garnered particular acclaim across fashion, art, tech, and film. Boasting selective original music from some of the best rising artists, such as Willow Smith, Sampha, Vic Mensa, Jesse Boykins III, Dev Hynes, Kelela, SZA, Rome Fortune, and many others.
